Today's Saturday Social Question:

Do you have any siblings and do you get along with them?

My Answer:

I sure do! I have 1 sister :-) She is 13 months older than me and she lives about 15 minutes away. We used to fight alot as we grew up, but we get along fine now. She has 2 kids and I have 1 of my own. I think we talk more now that our parents moved to Germany :-)

What qualities do you think make a great Dad?

My Answer:

There are so many ways to answer this question, but this is how I am feeling right now. A good dad is one that spends time with their kids. A Dad who helps change the diapers, bathe the children and kisses the boo boos. :-)

When is your birthday?

My Answer:

My birthday is this coming Monday... June 9! Happy Birthday to me :-) I took that day off of work and will probably go to lunch with my friend who shares the same birthday. At night hopefully my husband will cook me dinner (hint, hint!) lol

Today's Saturday Social Question:

It is Memorial Day weekend here in the United States... do you have any big plans or traditions?

My Answer:

We do not have any traditions, but always try to cookout or go to a cookout at someones house. This weekend we have lucked out with the weather and it is not going to rain until maybe late afternoon/night on Monday. My husband is going to clean the deck and then paint it. It is going to look so nice! I will definitely take pictures. I also plan on planting some flowers and working in the yard. We are also going to go to a parade on Monday. Have an awesome weekend!

Today's Saturday Social Question:

What are your plans for Mother's Day?

My Answer:

I actually have no idea what is planned for my Mother's Day this year. My husband did ask today what I wanted to do and I did say I would like to sleep and have breakfast made for me :-) Mother's Day has always been a great day for me... it is all because of Mother's Day 2006... That is the day that we finally got to bring Mikey home from his 3 week NICU stay after he was born. What better gift could a mother ask for?

Today's Saturday Social Question:

Are you taking any vacations/holidays this summer?

My Answer:

We don't have any plans set in stone yet... but we would like to take either a long weekend somewhere like Ocean City, or perhaps another weeklong adventure in Seattle to visit my grandparents. We have gone to Seattle the past 2 years and we always have fun. My grnadparents sure do love to see their great-grandson (and granddaughter too). But the beach and fun in the sun sounds wonderful!

What do you plan on doing with your tax rebate check (economic stimulus package)?

My Answer:

We are planning on paying off some medical bills with ours. That isn't really helping the economy, but we seem to shop a lot lately anyhow, so does it really matter? LOL! If we didn't have to pay bills, I think I would like to take a vacation! Now THAT sounds tempting!

Today's Saturday Social Question:

What is your favorite season?

My Answer:

I love the springtime! I used to say summer, but now I think it is too hot, lol! Spring is great because it is a new beginning and there is so much to look forward too. I love how stuff starts to bloom, and neighbors re-emerge from their houses after the long winter. I always joke that we all come out of hibernation. Ahhh.... spring has sprung and I love it!

Today's Saturday Social Question:

What do you do to help the environment?

My Answer:

This is something that we could definitely do better in this house, but we try. We recycle. This is something that took 3 years to convince my husband to do, but he does it and is excited to see how many recycle bags we can fill in one week. We also make an effort to turn off lights when we leave a room and try not to waste water (i.e. while brushing our teeth) I know that we could do more, but at least it is a start, right?

Today's Saturday Social Question:

Do you exercise and eat healthy?

My Answer:

No exercise and I could make better eating choices. I have a job where I mainly sit and the most exercise I get during the day is running around chasing Mikey and doing housework. I work out when I am dieting but I should incorporate it into my everyday life, which I plan on doing (see "Are you a procrastinator" from last week). As far as my eating choices... well, they have been less than favorable the past few weeks and months, but I have started to eat less and incoprate healthier snacks. I am going to lose weight in hopes that it helps my chances of getting pregnant.

My Answer:

Yes. I will be the first to admit it to! For example... this blog entry. I could have written it at so many different times during the past week, yet I didn't. What is your favorite holiday and why?

My Answer:

I have always loved Christmas! When I was little it was because I loved to get presents! As an adult, I love Christmas because it means spending time with my family. I love to see the look on other's faces when the open the gifts I gave them, especially niece and nephew and my son too!

How do you like to spend your free time?

When I am not cleaning up after my little Toddler Tornado, I like to spend a lot of my free time on the internet talking to friends, blogging, surfing and watching videos. When the weather is nicer I love to spend time outdoors enjoying the weather.

Today's Saturday Social Question:

How long have you been blogging and what do you love best about it?

My Answer:

I started this blog in October 2007, but have been keeping up with it more in the past couple of months. What I love about blogging is sharing my experiences with others. I love to just type away! It is a great way to keep up with friends and family, and also helps relieves some stress. I find it entertaining to read what others have to say, and I hope people feel the same way about what I write. If I can make one person smile, then I feel I have done something right.
